INTA 25th March: Last available seats

North Korea fires 10 short-range rockets


North Korea has fired 10 short-range rockets, two South Korean defense officials said Sunday. The rockets were fired from the eastern coast of the Korean peninsula toward the Sea of Japan, according to the officials, who asked not to be identified by name as a matter of security protocol. Iran still seeking banned items


Iran has pursued a longstanding effort to buy banned components for its nuclear and missile programs in recent months, a U.S. official said on Sunday. This country has one of the biggest missile programs in the Middle East, regarding such weapons as an important deterrent and retaliatory force against U.S. and other adversaries in the event of war. Its efforts to develop, test and field ballistic missiles, and build a space launch capability, have helped drive billions of dollars of U.S. ballistic missile defence expenditure, and contributed to Israel's threats of possible pre-emptive military action against Iranian nuclear installations. Iran: Serious reasons to be (even more) concerned


Hours ago, Iran’s defense minister commended Palestinian organizations in the Gaza Strip for firing dozens of rockets into southern Israel, stating their operational power is "...a thousand times more than what it was before.”


Iran’s Fars News Agency quoted Iranian Defense Minister Brig.-Gen. Hossein Dehqan on Saturday, claiming that the Gaza terror organizations "...have not yet displayed their actual missile capability". The rocket barrage came after Israel unveiled the massive cache of Iranian missiles and munitions which commandos confiscated from a ship, the Klos-C, and which intelligence has found was intended for Gaza.

Russia ‘Welcomes’ the US Destroyer Truxtun


Unconfirmed news reports claim the Russian Navy is deploying land-based ‘Bastion’ anti-ship missile systems as a response to the recent U.S. move entering two naval vessels to the Black Sea. The Bastion anti-ship missile system was deployed last night (8-9 March) to Sevastopol from the Russian town of Anapa, Krasnodar, about 250 miles to the East.
