Pilippines plans to tap Israel for missile launchers

 

Amid rising tensions over territorial disputes with China in the West Philippine Sea, the government is planning to buy anti-aircraft guided missiles (surface-to-air missiles or multiple launch rocket systems) from Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. and Israel Military Industries Ltd., both based in Israel.
